Tracey Walker concentrates her practice in the area of litigation, with emphasis in commercial, construction, tort, and general commercial liability. Ms. Walker has successfully tried cases in state and federal court and in arbitration on matters, ranging from simple disputes to large complex multi-million dollar claims involving torts, negligence, contract disputes, and employment matters, among others. Her practice is national in scope spanning from Pennsylvania to California and from Illinois to Puerto Rico.
Ms. Walker has comprehensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and construction contracts for various types of large commercial and industrial projects. She routinely works for the benefit of her clients on the buy and supply-side of commercial transactions as well as in the government contracting arena where she assists clients in the preparation of and, responses to invitations to public bid, requests for proposals, and request for qualifications.
Ms. Walker began her career with an exclusive practice of general casualty defense claims. She has continued this aspect of her practice and she now boasts an extensive background in all aspects of the defense of general casualty claims involving property damage and loss, personal injury, product liability, automobile, premises and commercial liability, wrongful death, and intentional torts and defamation.
She has handled and defended employment discrimination actions, including age, gender, race, and Americans with Disabilities Act matters. Ms. Walker has also litigated around non-compete agreements.
Ms. Walker earned a B.A. at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a J.D. at the University of California-Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. She is admitted to the State and Federal Bars of Georgia and Illinois. Ms. Walker is a member of the American Bar Association; the National Bar Association, Commercial Litigation Section; and the Atlanta Bar Association, Litigation and Construction Law Sections.
